Our Welcome Blog to Panther Creek Golf Club!
Welcome to Panther Creek's Blog. To start off our 1st blog I would like to share information about Panther Creek and recent changes to our golf course.
Panther Creek Golf Club is located only 10 miles from downtown Jacksonville. Opened in August of 2005, Panther Creek has developed a reputation to challenge every skilled to the novice golfer. With six sets of tees everyone can take a shot and "Tame the Panther"!
Over the last 6 month the grounds crew of Panther Creek has been hard at work to make your golfing experience more enjoyable. During this process we have opened up a few landing area's and filled in bunkers for lower scores and a few less lost balls. Below are just a few examples on the golf course that have been opened up...
Hole #1 - Trimming trees on the left side of the fairway has opened up the approach shot
Hole #5 - The landing area from the tee box on the right side been cleared up.
Hole #10 - The tee shot has been opened up by trimming away a few trees on the left.
Holes #2, #3, #8, #18 - Bunkers have been filled in with grass to make grass bunkers.
Holes #5, #7, #10, #13, #14, #15 - Coquina waste areas have been filled in with grass to make areas more playable for all skill levels.
Panther Creek Golf Club will be posting new blogs to keep our valuable patrons up to date on all activities, events and specials.
